I’ve been meaning to post news of this study for a few days now. I came across an article at Forbes.com wherein the people over at ExactTarget released the results of their 2012 Channel Preference Survey, which is an in-depth analysis and ranking of the direct messaging mediums preferred by consumers for  marketing purposes.

Apparently, against popular belief, email marketing is still the “most-preferred channel for direct, one-to-one marketing communications with consumers.”
